Today Bethany suddenly decided that she wanted a Sleeping Beauty birthday party - not a Little Mermaid party! Oh no! Does anyone have good Sleeping Beauty-themed activities for a co-ed four-year-old party?

Bethany: Gummy vitamins!

(Somebody please tell me what I'm supposed to do with that. There is either a great imagination or some serious confusion at work.)

Dedication

Beautiful Abigail on her dedication day! My grandma made the gown she's wearing for my baptism - very special!



Abby with her Godmother, Aunt Mary! We're so thankful that she has such an awesome aunt - my brother sure knows how to pick them. Her Godfather, "Uncle" Pete, was needed back in Ohio, so couldn't make it up. Abby can't wait to meet him!!

For some reason, Rebekah hasn't wanted to take pictures with Abigail the past couple of days, so pictures of the 2 of them have been pretty limited. Love these pictures though!

Abby's First Outing

Saturday we took Abigail up to meet her Great Grandma. She got to meet lots of other family too, and was an angel being passed around all night. Bethany made sure to keep tabs on her.

Science Museum

Bethany and Rebekah had a fun outing with Grandma and Papa to see Sesame Street at the Science Museum. Bethany says her favorite part was Big Bird. Rebekah, of course, went for the obstacle course!

Meeting Our Sister

Both my older girls couldn't wait to hold Abby. Thankfully, Abigail is pretty easy-going so far! She'll have to be to grow up in this family.

Abby Comes Home

Abby came home last Wednesday to a couple of sisters who were very eager to meet her! It was very different leaving the hospital without any fanfare, but kind of nice. I really enjoyed my alone time with Abby in the hospital - but am oh-so-glad to be home!

I'm glad to report both mommy and baby are healthy and happy and doing well!

Starting with the obligatory naked baby on a scale picture, here are a few shots from Abby's first hours to hold over those who haven't been able to see her in person yet. (There will be plenty more to come, but some settling in needs to be done first.)









She's a cutie, no doubt, and we love her deeply already. Look forward to seeing a lot more of her soon!
