Dedication

dedication gown

Beautiful Abigail on her dedication day! My grandma made the gown she's wearing for my baptism - very special!

Abby with godmother Mary

Abby with her Godmother, Aunt Mary! We're so thankful that she has such an awesome aunt - my brother sure knows how to pick them. Her Godfather, "Uncle" Pete, was needed back in Ohio, so couldn't make it up. Abby can't wait to meet him!!

everyone after Abby's dedication

Our first Christmas celebration was tons of fun. Bethany is using her new fancy camera like crazy, and Rebekah is "cooking" up a storm. The kids are so much fun this year!!

Bowling

Bethany went bowling for the first time over Thanksgiving week. She really enjoyed "catching" the balls when they came up, seeing the numbers pop up on the screen, and pushing the reset button. Bowling, however, she could take or leave.

Go, Buckeyes!

Bethany and Rebekah went to their first annual skull session this weekend. Poor Rebekah was terrified of the bus, but she braved it all right. They both enjoyed the music, and got into the cheering. Go, Buckeyes!! (And Go, Bills!! who are about to beat New England!)

The Party

The party was awesome! The present opening was kind of crazy - the big kids opened most of Bekah's presents for her. She was ok with that because she got them once they were out of the packaging. She loved her cell phone from G.G.s Faye and Richard.

I'm so thankful for Rebekah. Her sweet, happy nature is a constant blessing in our house. We love hearing her babblings, and watching her think new things through. I love how she's already so much different than Bethany - such a unique personality to love!

Bridgeport

We really enjoyed our trip in Michigan. We got to see U.Bruce and AUNT Marcy, who are our new favorite newlyweds! (Ok, G.Faye and G.Richard, too. So many weddings!) We also got to take advantage of the hotel's pool.
Tuesday is A.Marcy's birthday, so we celebrated with some cake.
Both Bethany and Bekah got in some quality time with their G.Grandma. G.Grandpa had fun teasing the girls too, but we somehow missed the Kodak moments there... maybe partially due to the camera missing in action for a good part of Sunday!

Independence Day!

After our trip to Rondeau, we headed farther west to Bridgeport to visit Matthew's grandparents. We took the girls to see fireworks. Bethany was pretty much uninterested, but loved jumping on everyone and at the same time saying "sorry!"

Rose Festival

All that was not quite enough outdoors, so we headed to the Rose Festival in the evening. Bethany steered us around the park, Bekah slept, and we all enjoyed cooling down by the fountain.

Grandma!

Grandma Miriam is in town! Bethany's monopolizing most of her time, but she's snuck in some quality time with Rebekah, too. After all, who could resist such a beautiful little baby?

Party #1

We had a nice little get together for Bethany down in Columbus with all the tree guys (Daddy's high school friends). I made her a flower/star cake, depending on who you asked! Either way, it tasted delicious. Grandpa and Grandma got Bethany lots of presents (she's very spoiled, or well-loved... I'm hoping usually the later)! She even got a bottle for her baby.

COSI Birthday

Bethany celebrated her birthday afternoon at COSI with Mommy, Daddy, Grandma Miriam, and "Uncle" Andy C. (Lots of Andys, hence the initial.) She got right into the fun in the space exhibit, where she was able to throw around bouncy balls to see how spaceships slingshot around the moon. Not sure she understood that part of it...Then it was on to the Ocean exhibit, which was by far her favorite. She saw a submarine, and really wanted to be like the big kids and go inside. Maybe next year.
She also got to get good and wet playing with all the fountains! This fountain was the best!!
The gadget room was lots of fun. Bethany loved spinning these gears... especially because spinning one made all of them move.

The Jones Boys!

Bethany got to meet baby Benjamin while she was down in Ohio too, although the real highlight for her was being able to hang out with Matthew. She was entertained for hours by his high energy level!

Go Black Bears!

Goodness, it's about time for an update! Last weekend we went down to Coshocton to finally catch one of the triplets' football games. And they won! We were so excited. We spent the rest of the weekend in Coshocton with Grandma and Grandpa and G.G. Faye. We got to go to the Coshocton County Fair, and Bethany loved seeing all the animals. We attempted the carousel again, but did not enjoy that. Ah well.

Cantwell Cliffs

We saved the hardest hike for last, and didn't really finish it. But, it was really beautiful, and I hope to do it for real one day. This was the only hike Bethany didn't walk, and Grandpa and Daddy were troopers carrying her everywhere!

Cedar Falls

Or not. After G&G Sirgey left, we did the Cedar Falls hike. Got to the end, and no falls! We figured as much.Mommy and Daddy did a bunch of letterboxing throughout the trip, and Bethany loved helping out!

Old Man's Cave

There's a reason Old Man's Cave in the most popular attraction in the parks. It's amazing! Bethany's favorite part was all the boardwalk bridges... she loved running across them. It's also amazing how someone so little can move so fast.
