Another great day to be outside.
Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

Memorial Picnic
We had lots of fun at our family picnic yesterday. Rebekah is a cornhole master, and Bethany loved confiscating the bags on her! What a perfect day!

Quotes of the Week
Bethany's friend, Matthew, decided to tell Bethany a joke.
Matthew: Why did the chicken cross the road? Guess.
Bethany: I don't see a chicken, Matthew.
Proof that we're constantly running late for things. On our way inside yesterday, I decided to stop and see if we had mail.
Bethany: Mommy, we don't have time for this.

Burchfield Playground
Sarah and I took the kids to the Burchfield Park Playground this afternoon, and they had a good old time. Here are a couple pictures and a video from Sarah's camera. (I took a great picture of Bekah, but I can't put it up at the moment, because I'm not at home. I'll get to it soon.)

Extended Family
One of Rebekah's Godfathers and his family made the long trip up to Buffalo to celebrate her birthday with her. It was a whirlwind weekend, and we squeezed as much fun out of it as we could. The kids got along great, and the adults had a late Saturday night! We loved having them up and can't wait for our next visit!
The Party
The party was awesome! The present opening was kind of crazy - the big kids opened most of Bekah's presents for her. She was ok with that because she got them once they were out of the packaging. She loved her cell phone from G.G.s Faye and Richard.
I'm so thankful for Rebekah. Her sweet, happy nature is a constant blessing in our house. We love hearing her babblings, and watching her think new things through. I love how she's already so much different than Bethany - such a unique personality to love!

Rebekah is 1!!!!
My sweet, little Rebekah turned one on Saturday!! We originally planned a farm animal theme, which turned into a generic animal theme when Party City didn't have any farm animal decorations. I just adored her piggy cake, which was a fun jest at her healthy appetite - I'm sure I'll get yelled at when she's a teenager! She loved her cake too, and squished the heck out of it before eating it.

Our Special Restaurant
Bethany really wanted to go out to eat tonight. Instead, we created our own special restaurant right in our livingroom. We even used our good plates!

Gardening
Yesterday I brought home soil and seeds, and we broke out Bethany's new gardening set. She was a little disappointed that we didn't wake up to plants this morning, but she loves watering the soil!
Swim Class
Matthew and I gave Bethany swim classes for her birthday. So every Wednesday, Bethany and I hit the pool. You would not believe the stuff they're teaching her already. She jumps in no problem, goes under water, and swims with the help of a kick board (and me holding onto her wrists). She is such a brave girl!

Belated Walking
Bekah's Godfather is always looking out for her - he pointed out that our blog never mentions that Bekah can walk!!! She's very cautious and tries not to fall down, and she already has great balance! Welcome to the toddler stage, Rebekah!
