Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

Ariel and her Sister
Bet you never would've guessed that Bethany was Ariel for Halloween this year. We got Rebekah the same costume, but Bethany insisted that she's "Ariel's sister." Bekah was not a fan of being a mermaid. Bethany, of course, LOVED it.

Halloween Preview
Last weekend we were in Columbus for the big Penn State game. It didn't end the way we wanted, but we enjoyed our fellowship with the Tree people, as I call them. We also had a failed attempt at Trunk-or-Treating, which is ok, because it means you get to finally see my girls dressed up! Check out Mommy Bear and Baby Bear. (Papa Bear was back home in Buffalo!)

Halloween Prequel
Halloween is in the air, and we've been working hard on the costumes for this year. Won't ruin the surprise... instead, here's Bethany in her costume from last year. Still oh-so-cute.

A Real Princess
Bethany was reminiscing today and wore her flower girl dress all afternoon. During a stroll around the block, a neighborhood boy asked, "Is she a princess?!" I was tempted to say yes, but decided not to confuse the poor boy. No denying Bethany's beauty after a comment like that though!

Dedication!
My beautiful Rebekah was dedicated on Sunday! The dress she's wearing was her A.Sarah's when she was baptized. My grandma made it for her. It's also the dress that Bethany wore to her A.Sarah's wedding. It's sure getting a lot of use!
Reception
Bethany (Sr.) had fun chairs and coloring books waiting for Bethany and Jonas when we got to reception. What a good idea! They entertained Bethany for quite some time.
Wedding!
And, not so much. We started out the day getting ready with the bridesmaids. Bethany handled it all pretty well. (Although it took Grandma to actually get her hair up!) I should have known that those fingers, a sure signal of tiredness, would be a sign of trouble.
Poor Aunt Sarah has to carry both toddlers down the aisle, one on each hip! Then, as soon as she put them down with Grandpa and Grandma, they both burst into tears. Jonas because his mommy left him, and Bethany because I was about to take Jonas into the crying room. So, the three of us spent the entire ceremony in the crying room. I heard it was a beautiful wedding! (And they sure look great!)

When it was all said and done, Bethany practiced going up and down the aisle again. Figures. Maybe we'll have better luck next time.

All Dressed Up
This was a wedding shower weekend, so we took advantage of all us girls looking nice and took a few photos. No Matt in the pictures... he didn't look good enough! Notice Bethany ponytail? That took 20 minutes to do, and 10 minutes of saying, "no, don't touch that." These weddings are going to be interesting this summer!

Malloween
Bethany got to go trick or treating at the mall on Halloween. She is an expert trick or treater! We put her and Jonas in a costume contest, too, and had fun seeing all the creative costumes. Our favorite was the two little girls dressed up as ice cream cones!
Bethany had quite the satisfying evening!

Wanderlust
Bethany, Jonas, Aunt Sarah and I all went to the Explore and More Museum today. They have an awesome "culture corner" where the kids can learn about a few different countries. Bethany played bongo drums in South Africa, and then threw off various items of clothing in Mexico, Vietnam, and the Netherlands. Talk about a good time!

Trick or Treat
Bethany's first Halloween!!! She had lots of fun trick-or-treating. Here's the basic rundown of our day:
1:00 We started out trying to figure out how my little Pebbles was going to have the little poof of hair on top of her head.
2:00 Yay! All ready to start our adventure!
2:30 First stop - visiting Daddy at work. All his co-workers thought Bethany was the most adorable baby in the world. I would have to agree.
3:00 Off to UB to show everyone our fun costume. We visited with my school group, and got stopped plenty of times by admirers! Then we bundled up for the long walk back to the car!
5:30 Met up with Bamm-Bamm (aka Jonas) and Aunt Sarah. Had a little bit of a photo shoot, and dinner, before heading out again.
7:00 Off to Aunt Marie and Uncle Larry's . They were having a little party in their garage with all their neighbors. Apparently Pebbles is not a good costume to be wearing if you're actually going to be outside. Bethany had to cuddle up with Grandma. (And Mommy got some candy!)
7:30 Next stop: The Center to see Great Grandma. Bethany had to visit all of Great Gram's friends and pose for more pictures. We did a little line dancing, and Mom got some more candy before heading out.
8:30 Final Stop: Jonas' grandma's. She had LOTS of fun Halloween decorations that lit up and made cool sounds. Bethany thought it was all very cool. Once again, Mom stocked up on candy before leaving for home!
9:00 Bethany got home, had a bottle, and went right to sleep. Now Mom and Dad can enjoy the benefits of Bethany's trick-or-treating. I love having a baby.
