Which Bethany was very impressed with...
and more than a little jealous of when she was told they weren't hers.
Happy birthday, Jonas. We love you tons!!!!
Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

Birthday Cake
Bethany had a spring theme for her birthday party today. And see that amazing cake? Sarah and I made it all by ourselves. Aren't you impressed? (I know my Roberts girls are proud of me.) Bethany loved her first taste of actual junk food. She savored it quite a bit, which is good considering it won't happen again until year 2!

Here's all the party guests!

Week Wrap-Up
Well, break is officially over. We took advantage of the snowfall over the weekend to do some sledding. And Bethany and Jonas got their Easter pictures taken on Sunday. They were both very smiley and got some great pictures! It was hard trying to choose just one! Today it was back to school for me, and Bethany was happy to be spending the day with Jonas and Aunt Sarah again. I definitely missed hanging out with her though.

Wanderlust
Bethany, Jonas, Aunt Sarah and I all went to the Explore and More Museum today. They have an awesome "culture corner" where the kids can learn about a few different countries. Bethany played bongo drums in South Africa, and then threw off various items of clothing in Mexico, Vietnam, and the Netherlands. Talk about a good time!

Baby, It's Cold Outside
Bethany has been braving the cold pretty well. She's getting a little bit of a chapped chin, but nothing we can't handle. She's spent the past couple of days hanging out with Jonas doing Christmas shopping. What fun! And she's climbing every couch in sight. We just need to work on learning how to sit back down!

Wildlights!
The Columbus Zoo has the coolest Christmas lights ever. Luckily, it was a gorgeous day out, so Bethany didn't need much bundling to join everybody venturing out to kick off the Christmas season! We met up with Uncle Pete and Aunt Kim, along with various members of their family, and Bethany met yet another Uncle Andy!! What fun! As for the Christmas lights... well... people are so much more fun to look at.

Random Glimpses of Today

Crazy day today! Bethany was dragged on a 5 HOUR long shopping trip! By her mother! What is going on??? She had fun checking out all the people hitting up the Veteran's Day sales. Then she crashed and went home to watch football with her daddy. Lots of quality time with both parents... what a spoiled baby.

Going to the Zoo, ooh ooh

Today was Bethany's first time to the Buffalo Zoo - and I wasn't there! Her Uncle Mike took her while he was babysitting. What a fun uncle she has! She looks all warm and bundly, doesn't she? She has on a giraffe onesie for the occasion... you just can't tell with all those layers. It's the thought that counts, right?

Dotting the "i"
Last weekend was Bethany's 2nd time in Columbus! The highlight of the weekend was all the adventures involving the Ohio State game - I know, surprising, right? Saturday afternoon we all got into our Buckeye gear to get ready to head down to the skull session.
We parked a few miles from the stadium and waited for the bus to take us to the game.
It was Bethany's first time on a bus!
When we got to St John's to see the marching band all the sections were closed! What the heck? So we watched all the crazy fans in the hall and listened to the band through the walls.

While we were hanging out we hunted down Grandpa's football team picture from his senior year at OSU... very cool!
Then! Grandpa managed to sweet talk an usher into letting Bethany see the last few minutes of the practice. How cool is that! She even got to see Jack Nicklaus in person. (He dotted the i in the game.) This is them coming back out to us.
The game was great! Matthew and I went - Bethany hung out with her Grandma and Grandpa during it. Ohio State had a VERY easy victory. More on the weekend festivities tomorrow.
