Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

Grandma!
Grandma Miriam is in town! Bethany's monopolizing most of her time, but she's snuck in some quality time with Rebekah, too. After all, who could resist such a beautiful little baby?

Baby Sister
Bethany is very into holding her baby sister. It's amazing to me how much older she seems now that there's a new baby around. When did she get to be a little girl?

Karaoke Gone Crazy
Bethany is craving attention a little bit lately! Having a new sister takes some getting used to.

Bekah's First Outing
Bekah went out for the first time today! We got her in a super pretty dress, then headed to Applebees for dinner. (Mommy was feeling a little cooped up!) I'm not sure Rebekah ever knew she was out, but Bethany sure appreciated the change of scenery. She even got a balloon on the way out.
Itsy Bitsy Spider
Bethany and Jonas love singing songs that have fun motions. Of course, that doesn't mean they always do the motions...

Boppy Time
Rebekah is getting more gorgeous by the minute. Tell me she doesn't look just like her big sister in this picture. What a cutie.
Loving Bekah
Bethany is really loving being a big sister. She's so good at taking care of Rebekah! She brings her her binkie and blankie, and tries to get plenty of cuddle time. What a pair these two make.

Gardening
Bethany's going to be quite the gardener this year. She helped her grandpa dig up all the weeds for Grandma!

Rainbow Cookies
The Crafty Crow had a post on rainbow cookies, and I thought they might be a hit with Bethany after our clay day. She loved it (especially the part where she finally got a cookie). She helped with every part of making them. All that practice of making snakes and ball shapes paid off!

I Love You
Bethany just said the most awesome sentence I have ever heard her say - "I love you!" Matt and I got so excited that she repeated it over and over all the way to her room for bed. What a sweetie.
Playground Season
Wow, Bethany has changed a lot since the last time she was able to play on this playground. I felt like the one of the big kid's moms while I just sat and watched them do everything themselves. They didn't even need me to stand at the bottom of the slide! It is going to be so great having the playground within walking distance this summer.

Clay Colors
Now that I'm out of school (yay!), I've started putting the kids on a more structured schedule. And what kind of schedule wouldn't have a crafty time?? Today we worked on our colors while playing with molding clay. Bethany was really good at trying to imitate shapes I was making with the clay. I just love watching her little brain work!

M-Day Presents
Check out Bethany's artistic ability! (Hopefully she doesn't inherit her mother's gardening skills!)
Baby Update
I had a doctor's appointment on Friday to see how Baby #2 is doing. Good news! I'm 3cm. dilated, and 50% effaced. Not only that, I lost a pound!! Very nice to hear after months of hearing how much I'm gaining! My glucose levels tested high, so I ended up having to tell the nurse of my pasta and gummy worm lunch. Oops.
I can't wait to be a mommy again. Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful moms!!

Shoe Hands
Bethany and Jonas find it a lot of fun to play "shoe hands." Why, I don't know. I love these pictures because they really remind me of Get Smart. That, and Bethany's just ridiculously cute.
Party #2
Ok, back to birthday pictures! The Friday after Bethany's birthday we had a party at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Bethany's favorite present was definitely a new purse from U.Mike and A.Mary. After opening it (and all the goodies inside), she immediately had to have her nails done. Then she put on her makeup. What a girly girl! She got tons of cute clothes, too, which will be used a lot this summer.
