Uncle Mike drew Bethany's name in the exchange, and got her musical toys! They were playing music the whole way home in the car!

Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

I have to admit I was really looking forward to putting up the latest Bethany and Ailey pictures. But, because my baby girl was so sick, they didn't really get too close to one another. So I'll have to settle for a Dawn and Ailey picture!
Evann provided both entertainment and amazement for Bethany. You can tell Bethany wants to be just like her some day!
Sorry, that's it in pictures for that get together. By the end of Wednesday both Bethany and I were exhausted, although today Bethany seems to be catching up on sleep and hopefully finally getting well again!
I think this is the longest I've ever spent opening presents. Bethany took her time helping to unwrap and inspect all of her presents. She got a lot of cool things, including her own cell phone, fun toy shelves (although that may be more fun for her mom!), and blocks that do all kinds of crazy things.
She also got "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," and her own Max stuffed animal!
Finally, her one good present from her mom and dad - a build and spill musical turtle. She loved it!
Although she did enjoy this Noah's Ark book, especially the finger puppet animals that came with it!!
What a very fun day kicking off the Christmas family get togethers!
Then she grabbed her candy cane balloon, and headed to bed... tomorrow's Christmas!
PS. I just thought I'd put this picture up because I think it's cute. Whenever we're out and Bethany's jealous that she's not sharing your food, just letting her chew on the straw is guaranteed to turn her into a happy girl again. I don't know what we're going to do when she learns how to work a straw!

Then, yesterday, we went and got Bethany's picture taken with Santa Claus at the Knights of Columbus. She was a little scared of him - but I can't blame her, having once been terrified of him myself.
The rest of the weekend was spent with friends in Rochester. Bethany met a new friend, Layla! I'm hoping they'll be able to be friends just like their moms!
Right now, Bethany's completely zonked out, making up for the lack of sleep last night. She spent last night at Josh and Crystal's, and ended up between Matt and I in bed pulling my hair all night. (She kept standing in the playpen and then crying because she couldn't get herself back down.) So we didn't get much sleep!
Bethany has been braving the cold pretty well. She's getting a little bit of a chapped chin, but nothing we can't handle. She's spent the past couple of days hanging out with Jonas doing Christmas shopping. What fun! And she's climbing every couch in sight. We just need to work on learning how to sit back down!
And my baby girl greets me every morning now just like this picture! She's hungry there, so no smiles were offered. Reasonable enough, I suppose.
