Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!
We had so much fun playing at the playground this morning! The snow made the slides really fast, and we had a ball pelting each other with snowballs. I love days off of work!
This video cracks me up because Bethany's freaking out that she has to go potty in it. That resulted in Sarah and I trekking the kids across a few baseball diamonds to the Children's Psychiatric Center to use a restroom. Miraculously, both of the kids made it!
Watch the first few seconds of this video carefully. The kids were playing with a fishing game Bethany got for Christmas when I realized Bekah had not only figured out what she was supposed to be doing, she actually did it.
The "family" there being Lisa's family, so we're using "family" in a broader sense, as opposed to just the four of us. And really, "Thursday" is used somewhat loosely, but that's another topic for another day.
Anyway, dinner with Lisa's family last night was a good time, as usual, and here are some pictures to prove it:
Dessert is always a good time for our girls (as is, apparently, wearing random articles of winter clothing inside...)
I woke my kids up after 8:00 Christmas morning - what's up with that? But, after they realized what was going on, they were super excited!
We finally have stairs to take the annual "top of the stairs" picture before we headed downstairs.
Rebekah got a stroller and high chair for her babies - which both the girls fought over. It was definitely the highlight of present opening. Bethany got lots of playdough tools, and beads to make herself jewelry. Lots of creative time in our future!
And, my amazing husband had the girls make these awesome Christmas trees for me with their handprints. LOVE THEM! Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas with friends and family!
The cousins had lots of fun watching the train go around Grandma and Papa's tree! Just wait, by next Christmas there will be 3 more babies on this side of the family!
Our first Christmas celebration was tons of fun. Bethany is using her new fancy camera like crazy, and Rebekah is "cooking" up a storm. The kids are so much fun this year!!
One of our Christmas activities this year was taking the kids on a Christmas train to the North Pole. They decked out in PJs for the trip, Polar Express style, and stocked up on popcorn. Everyone loved the train ride - even Rebekah!
