Naked Egg Hunt

Part of our Easter celebration was dying eggs. (Hence the nakedness.) After we made such beautiful eggs, we had the brilliant idea to send Bethany on an Easter egg hunt. She doesn't really understand that you have to be careful with hard-boiled eggs, so none of the eggs survived. Ah well, it was well worth it!

Easter Celebration

Bethany got spend Easter in Ohio! She loved having plenty of time with her grandpa Jon and grandma Miriam, and got to visit with lots of friends and family. A belated Happy Easter to all, or as the Lutherans would say, "Christ is risen!"

Quiltie

I know this has nothing to do with Bethany, other than her being the inspiration for me starting to do this at all, but check out the very first completed quiltie! It passed the Bethany test and everything, which made me very excited. Perhaps it's on its way to Connecticut, or maybe Rochester. Who knows?

The Jones Boys!

Bethany got to meet baby Benjamin while she was down in Ohio too, although the real highlight for her was being able to hang out with Matthew. She was entertained for hours by his high energy level!

Happy 1st, Evie!

Bethany got to see her friend, Evalyn, down in Columbus this weekend, just in time for her 1st birthday party. Bethany really enjoyed all the babies there, but did not appreciate having to wait until Evie finished her cake to have a bit!

Easter Preview

Last week we took the babies to get their Easter pictures taken. As you can imagine, we had quite the time! They were really good together, but not so much individually! Bethany was having way too much fun with the Easter baskets to pose for a picture, and didn't appreciate it when it was Jonas's turn to have the basket. Thankfully they turned out well!

Dress Up

Look how big she's getting. She's already girlier than her mom carrying around that purse!

Baby

One of Bethany's newest sentences is, "Where's Baby?" She needs her baby to go anywhere she goes, including bed. But don't worry, Baby isn't replacing taggie, just adding to it!

Easily Amused

Bethany cracks me up with the things that she gets into. She spent a good 20 minutes with this basket the other day, then her and Jonas were quite amused watching me through the baby gate!
