Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

Go, Bucks!!!
We were in Columbus for the OSU-Michigan game, which is practically a holiday down there! Matthew and his buddy, Andy, were the only ones with tickets to the game, but that didn't stop us all from going to enjoy the skull session. We took the bus (possibly Bethany's favorite part), and clapped/danced/yelled through the band's performance. And of course, had a bathroom emergency, which is always fun in a crowd of 15,000 people. All our cheering paid off. Go, Bucks!!!!

Skull Session
On Friday we all, including "Uncle" Andy, went down to Ohio for an OSU weekend. Bethany got to ride on a bus for 2nd time in her life, and this time we made it into the skull session! Everyone was entertained by her dancing, and she got to meet one of the band members. Daddy and Andy headed to the game, and we went home and watched them win on the computer (G&G don't have cable). Yay!

Other events of the weekend: we had a nice, big outing to Applebees with all our friends and got to see Andrew C. for the first time since he's moved back to Columbus. We also got to meet Grandma Faye's new fiance, Richard. Congrats, Grandma and Richard!!!

Big Girl
Bethany tried out her big girl bed yesterday. She was great through her naps, and loved being able to just walk out to us when she woke up. Nighttime was not so smooth. She fell out around 12:30, and not knowing how early it was I went to sleep with her and block her from falling out. Of course, then she woke up at 6:30, and fell out again trying to get over me to climb out. So... I think she'll be in the crib for nighttime again for a little while!
Way to sweep Northwestern, Buckeyes!!!

Kick off of Spring Break
I'm on spring break, which means an entire week of hanging out with the baby! Yay! We spent our weekend in Ohio visiting Grandpa and Grandma. Bethany ate out, played Yahtzee, and of course got walked around everywhere. She also got to see a bunch of her friends - although she played shy for most of the visit! And at the end of the day, she went to sleep in a box. That's right - we forgot the playpen and put Bethany to bed in a box. If it helps, it was a big box.

Flordia???
Bethany and I sat down to watch OSU kick Flordia's butt tonight. (Daddy was in Rochester watching it with his buddies.) By the end of the 1st quarter, Bethany was confused. What is going on?
Then, at the end of the 3rd, I put a very unhappy baby to bed. The poor girl had to witness not only her 1st Buckeye loss, but the loss of a national championship. It's been a tough day.

Dotting the "i"
Last weekend was Bethany's 2nd time in Columbus! The highlight of the weekend was all the adventures involving the Ohio State game - I know, surprising, right? Saturday afternoon we all got into our Buckeye gear to get ready to head down to the skull session.
We parked a few miles from the stadium and waited for the bus to take us to the game.
It was Bethany's first time on a bus!
When we got to St John's to see the marching band all the sections were closed! What the heck? So we watched all the crazy fans in the hall and listened to the band through the walls.

While we were hanging out we hunted down Grandpa's football team picture from his senior year at OSU... very cool!
Then! Grandpa managed to sweet talk an usher into letting Bethany see the last few minutes of the practice. How cool is that! She even got to see Jack Nicklaus in person. (He dotted the i in the game.) This is them coming back out to us.
The game was great! Matthew and I went - Bethany hung out with her Grandma and Grandpa during it. Ohio State had a VERY easy victory. More on the weekend festivities tomorrow.

Go Bucks!

Well, I gave up on Verizon, and I copied all my pictures and brought them to my mom's house to blog.Labor Day weekend was spent visiting family in Michigan. And Bethany saw the first Buckeye game of her life! We had lots of fun (we spent a lot of it taking pictures). I think that cute little Buckeye dress brought the team good luck.
