Nail Polish

Bethany was very into her feet tonight. She had her mommy cut all her toenails, and still wasn't satisfied. So out came the nail polish! Check it out!

Easily Amused

Bethany cracks me up with the things that she gets into. She spent a good 20 minutes with this basket the other day, then her and Jonas were quite amused watching me through the baby gate!

Thanksmas!

Bethany is a pro at unwrapping presents. And after unwrapping, she takes the time to inspect the gift and have some fun with it. What fun this Christmas season is going to be!

How Many?

How many blankets does it take to make Bethany happy at bedtime?
Bethany says, "As many as I can get!"

Backyard

Bethany and Jonas spent their lovely Friday afternoon in the backyard! (Which is where we end up when the babies don't keep themselves on the same schedule. Thankfully, that's pretty rare.) Bethany was all over the place, and managed to get a good amount of grass on our blanket. She's finally brave enough to walk the backyard barefoot, but usually prefers to stay and play with Jonas.

Packing and Unpacking

These two babies are such a fun distraction from packing for the weekend! Bethany's having fun unpacking what I've packed, and Jonas is quite entertained by her.

Wanderlust

Bethany, Jonas, Aunt Sarah and I all went to the Explore and More Museum today. They have an awesome "culture corner" where the kids can learn about a few different countries. Bethany played bongo drums in South Africa, and then threw off various items of clothing in Mexico, Vietnam, and the Netherlands. Talk about a good time!

The Beach

Bethany, Grandma, and I went to the mall today to go to the beach - just like Jonas did! Bethany was not quite sure what she was supposed to be doing at first, and she had me worried that she was going to hate getting dirty like her dad. I buried her feet in the sand and she was super confused that her toe seemed to be popping out of nowhere. Then we moved on to a sandbox table, which gave Bethany enough guts to get her hands dirty! Yay! She spent a good half hour moving the sand around and making sure Grandma and I were getting in on the fun.
