We started our day on Tuesday with a little hiking. No one told me how buggy hiking can be!! I almost got eaten alive!
Who would've thought we'd end up with three beautiful girls? We're enjoying watching them learn and grow, and we love showing them off almost as much! Stay tuned, because our life moves fast!

Then we headed up to Niagara Falls to walk around! Fun!
The holiday was spent with friends in Rochester. Although I was so excited about our new hobby that we planned another box hunt. We were completely unsuccessful in finding it, but we had fun plowing through overgrown trails and trying to avoid the rain. Wow, that really doesn't sound fun, but it was. After the failed hunt, we dried ourselves for an afternoon with Andy, Josh and the gang, and we were home just before the fog set in.

We decided to go see West Seneca's fireworks last night, too. We got there early to get a good spot, which turned out to be a little too good since we got firework debris all over ourselves. It was worth it, and Bethany thought the show was amazing. Despite being super tired, she had a great time!

Bethany went to the mall this morning with her Uncle Mike, Mary and Jonas. They must've worn her out pretty good because she was seriously knocked out when I got there to pick her up. I tried just talking to her to wake her up. Didn't work. Wheeled her out to the car in the rain. Still sound asleep. It wasn't until I unbuckled her and lifted her out of the stroller that she stirred. What a tired baby! Then she took a good nap from 6:00 to 8:00 (of course), and is still awake as we speak. That hasn't happened in a while...

Today was Bethany's first time to the Buffalo Zoo - and I wasn't there! Her Uncle Mike took her while he was babysitting. What a fun uncle she has! She looks all warm and bundly, doesn't she? She has on a giraffe onesie for the occasion... you just can't tell with all those layers. It's the thought that counts, right?
2:30 First stop - visiting Daddy at work. All his co-workers thought Bethany was the most adorable baby in the world. I would have to agree.
3:00 Off to UB to show everyone our fun costume. We visited with my school group, and got stopped plenty of times by admirers! Then we bundled up for the long walk back to the car!
5:30 Met up with Bamm-Bamm (aka Jonas) and Aunt Sarah. Had a little bit of a photo shoot, and dinner, before heading out again.
7:00 Off to Aunt Marie and Uncle Larry's . They were having a little party in their garage with all their neighbors. Apparently Pebbles is not a good costume to be wearing if you're actually going to be outside. Bethany had to cuddle up with Grandma. (And Mommy got some candy!)
7:30 Next stop: The Center to see Great Grandma. Bethany had to visit all of Great Gram's friends and pose for more pictures. We did a little line dancing, and Mom got some more candy before heading out.
8:30 Final Stop: Jonas' grandma's. She had LOTS of fun Halloween decorations that lit up and made cool sounds. Bethany thought it was all very cool. Once again, Mom stocked up on candy before leaving for home!
9:00 Bethany got home, had a bottle, and went right to sleep. Now Mom and Dad can enjoy the benefits of Bethany's trick-or-treating. I love having a baby.

I love camping. The week was filled with bocce ball, frisbee golf, swimming, hiking, games, campfires, and A LOT of eating. How much better can you get? Bethany packed in a lot of firsts: first time picking her nose (unintentionally), first boo-boo (2 actually, a scratch on her arm and a cut baby toe), first time in a tent, first time meeting Uncle Andy and Aunt Paula, first time on a boat (the Maid of the Mist), and her first hiking trip. Not bad... she's getting to be a pro at new things!

Green Lake is the most beautiful lake ever. I can't believe how green it is! We took the stroller for a spin around the two lakes (a nice 3 mile walk), and definitely appreciated the surroundings. Bethany was very impressed with how the sun came through the tops of the trees, and was sitting pretty comfortably in the cool shade. Uncle Pete and Aunt Kim took over pushing for a good bit of the trip, and Mom and Dad got some quality time. Very nice!
