Boob Tube?

Bethany and Jonas are such goofballs when they get on the playground. Jonas will go back and forth in the tube way more times than can possibly be amusing, and Bethany just loves the slide. And Grandma will do anything to keep both of them happy!

Big Girl

Bethany tried out her big girl bed yesterday. She was great through her naps, and loved being able to just walk out to us when she woke up. Nighttime was not so smooth. She fell out around 12:30, and not knowing how early it was I went to sleep with her and block her from falling out. Of course, then she woke up at 6:30, and fell out again trying to get over me to climb out. So... I think she'll be in the crib for nighttime again for a little while!Way to sweep Northwestern, Buckeyes!!!

Roughhousing

Bethany loves Jonas's ever growing mobility. She is definitely taking advantage of being bigger and stronger though.This is her infamous I-swear-Jonas's-crying-is-not-my-fault look. Just wait until Jonas grows a little bit more and can fight back, then it'll be him making that look.

Bethany gets herself into the weirdest things. Yesterday, she emptied out our clean laundry basket to make room for herself. Today, she jumped in Jonas's car seat to hang out for a while. What a goof.

Aunt Sarah's Birthday!

We're finally done with Aunt Sarah's birthday festivities. Check out the awesome cake Mike and I made her!

Smell the Roses

Bethany and Jonas had some good outside time today. Bethany really enjoys playing in the garden and smelling all the flowers!

Hairdresser

I have the sneaking suspicion that my daughter is going to be a hairdresser. Yesterday she had a grand old time brushing Jonas's hair. Then today Daddy and I were laughing at her while she spent 20 minutes putting all my hair in front of my face and then fixing it. Only slightly off-topic - she is getting to be so methodical in everything she does. I love watching her brain work!

Swimming!

Grandma and Grandpa got a free room at the casino tonight, so Bethany got to go swimming in the big pool! Tons of fun!

Guts and Glory

$560!!!! That's right, you all showed overwhelming support of Matthew in his 1st annual Crohn's walk. Thank you so much for thinking of him and showing us your love. Bethany and Jonas had tons of fun at the event, which was held at the Buffalo Zoo! Aren't they ridiculously cute in those t-shirts?

Fleece Fragments

I've been whipping out taggies left and right for all the babies on the way! Bethany has been sampling all of them, and enjoys the brief amount of time she has with them all. She even enjoying all the fleece scraps lying around! (Here's a little plug: if you know of anyone interested in buying a handmade taggie blanket from me, send them my way! They're 14"x14" soft fleece, with 5 tags of various materials/colors on each side. I'd let them go for $12!)

Curtain Peek-a-Boo

Ooh, notice the new addition to Bethany's Buddies. Bethers is getting a new cousin!!

Cell Phone Ring Sing

Bethany LOVES Daddy's cell phone. I can't tell you how many times we've sat around calling his phone just so she'll do this. Of course, now when we call it, you'll hear Ohio State's marching band cheering on our team. And if you're lucky, you'll hear "Carmen Ohio" and see Bethany raise her arms above her head to sing "O-HI-O."
